Eid Greetings and Gratitute for Ten years

For our customers who celebrate the fasting month of Ramadan, we wish you a blessed Eid!!!

2008 marks TEN years in business for AlSundus -we started as allaboutscarves where our primary business was importing scarves from all over the world. Many of you came with us on our journey as we transformed from allaboutscarves to AlSundus.com. This time importing modest clothing from different regions of the world. Our selection was keen on reflecting the diversity of our customers.

We are grateful to you our customers in supporting us in our journey -in helping us improve our processes. We had our rough times and have worked hard to come back to our focus on our core values.

As we have learned and grown with you, our products have also changed. We have come to find our own identity as Americans and our products have reflected that. When we didn’t find items that reflected our identity and fulfilled the needs of our customers, we began designing and manufacturing our own clothing.  We were the first to offer work appropriate clothing under our career wear selections. We were also the first to offer a selection of bridal and special occasion clothing. We continue to offer modest, stylish attire to our customers.
We are grateful for your support and your patronage and hope that you will continue to offer us your input and accompany us as we welcome the future.

Experimental Dialogue

The modest musings blog is part of an experimental dialogue with you our customers. I have not yet notified customers about this blog officially -bear with me as I get a grasp of this technology.  If you happened to wander here, please leave us your thoughts -thoughts about the blog because I am curious.

Whirlwind of Thoughts

I suppose an introduction is the common beginning.  For years we have supplied modest clothing to customers and while we have met and interacted with some of you, we feel the need to build a stronger relationship with you, hence this blog. Let us know what you think and together we can weave a tapestry of modest musings.
The weather is getting warm (yes only getting warm, we are in Seattle after all) and most of us are looking for ways to stay cool while staying modest.  Our fabrics of choice at AlSundus.com for the season are gauze and linens. We have been so pleased with the linen dusters that we are adding another style.  Many of you mentioned that you would like something that buttons down as opposed to the one button style of the rose linen dusters.  Coming soon are yellow linen dusters for the summer. 
In anticipation of a hotter summer, we debated whether gauze was too thin as a choice for the modestly inclined and I am pleased to let you know that we decided to introduce gauze tunics by the end of July. We have opted for darker colors to work with the light weight nature of the fabric. We are thrilled and can’t wait for you to try them!
